Join our GIS Architecture team! As a leader in the Defense sector, we seek a GIS Open Source Architect specialized in open-source geospatial technologies and GIS infrastructure management to participate in strategic C2 Cyber projects. You will join a multidisciplinary team leading the definition, evolution, and maintenance of advanced geospatial architectures, ensuring the availability, integration, and efficiency of critical GIS services for the organization. What will you do? * Design, configure, and maintain GIS architectures based on open-source technologies alongside development and DevOps teams for project geospatial technology stacks. * Manage and administer geospatial services, ensuring their availability, performance, and scalability. * Design and implement geospatial ETL processes using tools such as FME, GDAL, and automation scripts. * Automate geographic data processing workflows using orchestration solutions like Apache Airflow. * Implement validation, quality control, and geospatial data governance mechanisms in production environments. * Identify and resolve GIS service performance bottlenecks. * Design integration solutions based on broker patterns for geospatial data environments. * Manage deployments on virtualized and containerized environments using Docker. * Administer and optimize GeoServer and other cartographic publishing services. Go ahead—explore our offer and tell us what you can bring to the team! ✅ Experience in geospatial ETL processes using tools such as FME, GDAL, or automation scripts. ✅ Experience in batch process automation and geographic data flow orchestration using tools like Apache Airflow. ✅ Ability to implement geospatial data validation and quality control solutions in production environments. ✅ Experience identifying and resolving GIS service performance issues, applying broker-style integration patterns within geospatial data ecosystems. ✅ Experience with Docker and virtualized environments \+ GeoServer and other map servers. ✅ Knowledge of cloud components and cloud-oriented geospatial formats. ✅ Familiarity with OGC standards (WMS, WMTS, WFS, WCS). ✅ Knowledge of PostGIS and spatial databases. ✅ Availability to work under a hybrid model in Madrid.
