ACCIONA, within its Facility Services and Urban / Environmental Services business, is seeking a Quality and Environmental Technician for its headquarters in San Sebastián de los Reyes (Madrid).**Job Description**
**MISSION:**
Ensure compliance with quality and environmental standards across assigned contracts, guaranteeing proper implementation of management systems, legal compliance, continuous process improvement, and technical support to operations—thereby contributing to service excellence and the company’s sustainability goals.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Ensure correct implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Management Systems across all contracts.
* Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits.
* Develop and update procedures, technical instructions, inspection plans, KPI measurement, and service management plans as needed.
* Monitor performance indicators, non-conformities, and corrective and preventive actions.
* Identify, interpret, and update applicable environmental and quality legal requirements for each contract—especially those related to the Waste Law (Law 7/2022\)—including tracking and control of documentation associated with various waste managers, as well as aspects related to discharges, soils, SANDACH, etc., across different sites (workshops, warehouses, recycling centers, etc.).
* Maintain an up-to-date register of legal requirements and evidence of compliance.
* Advise contract managers and operational supervisors on quality, environmental matters, and regulatory compliance.
* Provide technical support during inspections conducted by public administrations.
* Carry out periodic visits to projects and contracts, ensuring documentary follow-up and operational accompaniment.
* Verify periodic environmental reporting.
* Coordinate decarbonization and energy transition plans (HVO, electric vehicles, etc.), monitoring progress toward associated global targets.
* Coordinate internal training on quality, environment, best practices, and legislative updates—as well as reinforcement actions on specific topics (Legionella, use of phytosanitary products, etc.).
**Candidate Requirements**
**REQUIREMENTS:**
Education: Degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Biology, or related field.
Additional training: Environmental Management Systems, technical training in the industrial sector or related to urban services.
Minimum 2 years’ experience performing similar duties, preferably in service, industrial, or waste management companies.
Languages: Spanish; other languages are valued.
Valid driver’s license.
