**Electrical Engineer – Water Treatment Projects (EPC)**
Are you passionate about designing critical infrastructure and would you like to lead electrical engineering in large-scale international projects?
**Oxigent Technologies** is seeking an **Electrical Engineer** with strong **experience in the water sector**, to join our Engineering Directorate in Madrid.
You will participate in the full project lifecycle of water treatment plants under the EPC model — from tendering and bid preparation through detailed engineering and technical execution.
**What will your key responsibilities be?** As a core member of the Engineering Directorate, your responsibilities will include:
* **Design, calculate, and develop** electrical and control solutions for **HV/MV/LV**, including equipment and system sizing.
* **Prepare key technical documentation:** single-line diagrams, electrical room layouts, control schematics, specifications, drawings, quantity take-offs, and budgets.
* **Comprehensively manage the bidding and execution phases**, preparing and analyzing supplier bids to conduct rigorous technical evaluations.
* **Provide cross-disciplinary technical coordination** with other engineering disciplines to ensure consistency across all deliverables.
* **Ensure quality and rapid integration** into ongoing projects, working autonomously and results-oriented.
**What qualifications do you need?**
* **Education**: **Industrial Engineering or equivalent**, with an electrical specialization.
* **Experience**: **Minimum 5 years in electrical and control equipment engineering**, with mandatory and demonstrable experience in **water sector EPC projects**.
* **Languages**: **Fluent English (minimum B2)**, required for interaction with international clients.
* **Experience in automation, control, and instrumentation system design.**
* **Proficient use** of **electrical calculation software and budgeting tools** (e.g., Presto or similar).
* **Knowledge of BIM environments**, and proficiency in specialized software such as **CANECO and DIALUX** (highly valued).
* **PMI certification**, and a cross-functional understanding of mechanical systems (a significant advantage).
