MISSION
Within Santalucía's Procurement Directorate and reporting to its head, your mission is to ensure, through data, comprehensive operational control over policy subscription, policy management, invoicing, non-payment, and collection methods; and to participate in and co-lead projects related to operational information management.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Analytics and Reporting
Conduct root-cause analyses of friction points (policy issuance, collections, invoice returns, contracting).
Measure the impact of initiatives (e.g., new non-payment logic, reminders, changes in collection methods).
Develop executive reports and data narratives (storytelling) oriented toward decision-making.
Lead communication with third parties regarding policy or invoice-related information.
**Data-driven Operational Monitoring and Control:**
Design and automate control metrics and SLA/KRI indicators per process/channel/system (daily/weekly/monthly).
Implement early-warning alerts.
**Automation and Self-Service:**
Design and build self-service dashboards (Power BI) and reusable templates.
Document and train business users on responsible data usage and KPI interpretation.
Project Management Knowledge
Participate in projects related to operational data management.
Participate in cross-functional projects within the department.
Maintain and continuously evolve these services.
**Continuous Improvement:**
Propose new KPIs, data sources, and analytical approaches to deepen operational understanding.
Propose an improvement roadmap with estimated impact.
REQUIREMENTS
**Desired Experience:**
Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics applied to operations (ideally in insurance or banking/financial services).
Minimum 2 years of hands-on SQL experience.
Experience as Product Owner (PO) or Business Analyst (BA) in data services or cross-functional operational projects.
Insurance industry experience is a plus.
**Valuable:** Familiarity with and interest in Santalucía’s business model, goals, product portfolio, organizational structure, culture, and strategies.
**Valuable:** Power BI knowledge.
**Required Knowledge:**
Bachelor’s degree and/or university degree, preferably in Business Administration and Management (ADE), Engineering, Mathematics, or Economics.
A master’s degree in insurance business, business intelligence, or big data is a plus.
Understanding of insurance processes and products.
