We are currently seeking a **Procurement Specialist** to join our Planning & Procurement team at our headquarters in Sils. **Responsibilities:** * Procure finished products, components, and spare parts required to ensure coverage in line with demand forecasts and safety stock levels. * Lead, manage, and monitor at-risk and/or out-of-stock references, as well as implement appropriate corrective actions with each supplier. * Analyze stock levels and demand forecasts to adjust the procurement plan for SKUs with excess inventory and ongoing purchases. * Phase-out routine. Monitor stock levels of finished goods, semi-finished goods, components, and/or materials for SKUs scheduled for discontinuation. * Maintain contact with Planning teams at Origin Offices to track production lead times, product inspections, pre-bookings, and bookings—and drive actions to prevent delays and service impacts. * Ensure timely delivery and validation of import documentation, as well as origin-specific certifications. * Maintain constant communication with suppliers to confirm order quantities and delivery timelines, and monitor their capacity based on long-term (12-month) procurement forecasts. * Maintain and update expected availability dates in the ERP system. * Analyze supplier performance regarding delivery times, product quality, and responsiveness to incidents. Identify deviations and implement corrective action plans aligned with agreed objectives and contractual commitments. * Propose continuous improvement opportunities to reduce production lead times. * Prepare periodic reports on procurement status, KPIs, and supplier performance. **Requirements:** * Prior experience in a procurement role within the industrial/manufacturing sector. * Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. * Experience managing supply chains and inventory planning. * Solid knowledge of inventory and procurement management principles. * Advanced spoken and written English.
