Join our team as: Mechanical Maintenance Manager *The role’s mission is to manage mechanical maintenance for the plant and quarry to ensure full facility availability, enabling production needs to be met. This must be achieved while complying with the Group’s safety, quality, and environmental policies, as well as the established budget.* *Key responsibilities include:* * ***Safety and Environmental Management****: Act as a role model by promoting a "zero harm" mindset within your department. You are responsible for ensuring strict compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations, Holcim standards, and safe work procedures, guaranteeing that operators have all necessary resources. You must also directly monitor workshop and mechanical intervention conditions regarding order and cleanliness, and ensure proper disposal or storage of industrial waste generated on-site in accordance with current legislation.* * ***Execution and Control of Mechanical Maintenance (Preventive, Predictive, and Corrective)****: Plan, prioritize, control, execute, and report all preventive and predictive activities, as well as corrective actions carried out by internal or external personnel; analyze results, make decisions, and implement necessary corrective measures.* * ***Ensure optimal operation of equipment and facilities at your plant*** *achieving target availability rates, MTBF, and sustainable cost performance (including Capex), while guaranteeing production volume and quality—engaging all departments.* * ***Implement and exemplarily ensure compliance with Holcim’s high MAC standards****, driving their application to achieve continuous annual improvement in maintenance KPIs.* * ***Team Leadership, Transformation, and Customer-Centric Innovation****: Lead high-performing teams by inspiring a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence in customer service. Strong willingness to challenge the status quo, promote continuous improvement, and adopt digital technologies (AI and agile methodologies) for process automation and optimization. Furthermore, you must serve as a role model—being transparent and committed to a "zero harm" culture in occupational health and safety and environmental protection.* ***Ideal Competencies and Experience:*** *Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, with specialization in Mechanical Engineering (a Master’s in Industrial Engineering is a plus).* ***Complementary Knowledge:*** *Solid technical expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance management, problem-solving and reliability engineering (RCA), planning of major repairs and kiln shutdowns, as well as cost and spare parts management.* ***English Proficiency:*** *Advanced English level (minimum B2, certified or demonstrable).* ***Availability:*** *Willingness to join the plant’s technical on-call team and respond to incidents as required by operations.* ***Experience:*** *Minimum 5 years’ experience in continuous manufacturing industrial processes, with direct involvement in mechanical and/or preventive maintenance.
