Job Summary: We are seeking a plant operator for a biomethanization facility, responsible for managing production processes, supervising SCADA systems, and contributing to environmental objectives. In Lasarte\-Oria, we are seeking a plant operator for the biomethanization facility, responsible for managing production processes via the SCADA system. This includes monitoring levels, pressures, temperatures, and alarms during shifts, as well as controlling the treatment of bio-waste from the pit to the digester, adjusting feeding and dewatering according to operational criteria. The operator also supervises biogas generation for gas engines and wastewater purification at the plant. Tasks include recording consumption and production data, reporting incidents to the team, and facilitating coordination between the office and on-site operators. It is an industrial environment demanding constant attention to detail and technical processes. Shift work is rotational; therefore, adaptability and strong communication skills are required to report and coordinate with other personnel. This role directly supports environmental objectives by ensuring efficient and safe waste treatment. The candidate must be methodical and responsible when handling complex systems, maintaining accurate records to enable continuous monitoring and improvement of daily plant operations. Vocational Training (FP) at intermediate or advanced level, or high school diploma. Minimum 2 years’ experience in controlling industrial production environments. Valid driving license type B. Must be of legal age. Local residence required (Lasarte\-Oria, Donostia or surrounding areas/Gipuzkoa). Competencies in responsibility, punctuality, and problem solving. Teamwork ability, communication skills, and capacity for operational decision-making will be valued.
