Driving continuous improvement and industrial excellence Job Description We are looking for a professional with a solid track record in managing industrial centers linked to the automotive sector, possessing strategic vision, strong results orientation, and experience managing high-demand environments in terms of quality and financial control. We seek a high-value individual to lead a production center dedicated to assembling modules and subassemblies within the Valeo Lighting environment. Key responsibilities include comprehensive management of the center, ensuring achievement of quality, cost, service, safety, and financial performance targets within a highly industrialized and demanding automotive-sector environment. Key responsibilities include: * Overall leadership of the production center: operations, people, and results. * Definition and monitoring of production, efficiency, and profitability objectives. * Ensuring compliance with automotive quality standards (IATF, customer processes, audits, etc.). * Management and control of the center’s budget, analysis of variances, and action plans. * Leadership of middle-management teams and operational staff. * Implementation of continuous improvement, productivity, and process optimization policies. * Coordination with customers (especially Valeo), suppliers, and corporate departments. * Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS), environmental, and quality regulations, and promoting a results-oriented culture, operational discipline, and industrial excellence. Requirements * University degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Organization, or related field. * Minimum 6–7 years’ experience managing industrial centers, preferably in the automotive sector. * Demonstrable experience in assembly-line production environments for modules and subassemblies. * In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with automotive-sector quality systems. * Experience in financial management, budgeting, and cost control. * Strong results orientation and data-driven decision-making capability. * Leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary team management skills. 1\. What do we value? * Prior experience working with Valeo or on projects directly linked to Valeo Lighting. * Experience in high-volume, highly industrialized environments. * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. * Intermediate/advanced English proficiency for interaction with customers and international teams.
