If interested, please apply and we will contact you. **Your main responsibilities will include:** Function 1: PATIENT CARE Verify patient identification upon admission to the hospital, checking personal details on the identification wristband and in the medical record. Assess patient needs and plan nursing care and prescribed medication according to the appropriate medical procedures, while addressing any related questions or concerns. Accompany physicians during rounds and act upon their requests. Collaborate with auxiliary staff in patient hygiene, mobilization, meal assistance, and bed preparation when required by the patient's condition, especially for patients needing special care. Prepare patients for transfers to other units or scheduled tests according to protocol. Provide adequate information to patients and/or families regarding their progress, unit features, and operational guidelines. Manage and oversee diet administration based on patient needs, and educate patients on promoting healthy habits. Participate in controlling nosocomial infections by following established procedures. Function 2: SERVICE OPERATIONS Support and provide requested materials to physicians during specific procedures or interventions. **Requirements:** Nursing degree or official recognition where applicable. Availability to work 12-hour rotating shifts. Professional registration in the province of practice.
