**MAPFRE Global Risks** is MAPFRE Group’s business unit specialized in providing comprehensive and innovative insurance solutions to large corporations facing the most complex risks inherent in their operations, leading international programs through a service network operating in over 100 countries. The **Operations** Department is seeking a **Head** to join its team covering the lines of **Liability**, **Aviation and Transport**. **Job Description** -------------------------- You will be responsible for managing a **team of 8 people**, supported by a middle manager. Additionally, you will hold responsibility across various modalities of **Liability**, **Aviation and Transport** insurance, aiming to deliver corporate insurance solutions for clients classified—due to their size, nature or scope of activity—as Global Risks or Large Enterprise clients within MAPFRE. **Responsibilities** ------------- * You will be responsible for managing and coordinating a team of Analyst Underwriters in the following tasks: * **Underwriting activities for Large Risks** across the aforementioned lines, both nationally and internationally, including analysis and management activities conducted in accordance with technical underwriting standards (claims experience analysis, profitability analysis, technical results, CAT accumulation, and engineering valuations). * Coordination of the **international rollout of insurance programs** with various Group and non-Group cedents. * You will interact with Clients/Brokers, Business Units, Legal Advisory, MAPFRE companies worldwide, other cedents, Sales and Marketing, Claims, and Administration. * You will monitor **budgets** and prepare **issuance reports**. * You will ensure **data quality** within systems, overseeing compliance with internally established procedures. **Requirements** -------------- * University degree, preferably in **Engineering, Business Administration (ADE) or Insurance**. * Prior experience required in a technical analyst/underwriter role and/or in managing international programs. * Previous experience in team management roles. * **Advanced English proficiency** (minimum C1 level). * Advanced office software skills.
