**Requisition Number:** 23878BR **Description:** Stantec is seeking to hire an Intermediate Structural Engineer with at least 7 years of experience for its offices in Peru. Key responsibilities will include: * Structural design of hydraulic concrete works * Structural analysis and design of concrete and structural steel structures * Structural design using ultimate strength and allowable stress methods * Preparation of calculation memos, drawings, and specifications for hydraulic structure projects, dams, and civil works for mining * Coordinate with the team on project planning, required information, deliverables, resources, and other aspects * Review, control, and approve that drawings produced by drafters are properly developed and delivered on time * Peer review of designs (calculation memos, calculation sheets, models) * Design according to national and international standards such as ACI, AISC, ASCE, AASHTO, and USACE. **Qualifications:** The requirements for the position are: * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering * Active professional license * Master's degree in Structural Engineering * Advanced English proficiency * Intermediate proficiency in the following software: * AutoCAD * Revit * SAP2000 * MathCad * ANSYS, ABAQUS or similar **About Stantec:** We are active members of the communities we serve.
