Job Summary: We are seeking a Quality Area Controller for the food industry, responsible for monitoring and controlling the quality area and the company's quality management system. Key Points: 1. Well-established company in the sector JOB DESCRIPTION Arestora Group requires a **QUALITY AREA CONTROLLER** for the **FOOD INDUSTRY** sector, located in the province of Pontevedra. **WE OFFER:** * A **STABLE** position. * **FULL-TIME** schedule. Split working hours from Monday to Friday, 9\-14 and 15\-18 h. * **SALARY TO BE NEGOTIATED**, depending on candidate’s qualifications. * Opportunity to join a **WELL-ESTABLISHED COMPANY** in the sector. **JOB MISSION**: Monitoring and control of the quality area and the company's quality management system. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Reviewing and applying company **QUALITY STANDARDS**. * Implementing, monitoring, and controlling quality standards (BRC, IFS, ISO, FDA, MSC, etc.). * Coordinating and managing quality resources. * Conducting internal quality **AUDITS** and assisting in external audits. * Managing the **LABORATORY**. * Controlling and supervising **TRACEABILITY** of raw materials and finished products. * Handling **COMPLAINTS** from major accounts. REQUIREMENTS * University degree in **Biology, Chemistry, Food Engineering**, or related fields. * Over **5 YEARS** of experience in similar roles within the **QUALITY** department. * Experience with **CRITICAL CONTROL POINTS FOR CLOSURE AND STERILIZATION OF CANS (canned goods)**. * Prior experience **LEADING A TEAM** in the laboratory/quality department. * Experience implementing and controlling quality standards such as **BRC, IFS, ISO, FDA, MSC**, etc. * **ADVANCED ENGLISH**, minimum B2 level, demonstrable. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. * Experience using ERP systems. * Valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
