The Senior Databricks Developer will drive enterprise-level data pipeline development and bring hands-on expertise in building scalable, high-performance data engineering solutions on Azure Databricks. This position focuses on thorough technical implementation, code quality, and optimization of data workflows. Key Responsibilities * Design and implement robust ETL/ELT processes using PySpark, SQL, and Databricks notebooks. * Build high-performance batch and streaming pipelines aligned with Medallion architecture principles. * Optimize and troubleshoot Spark jobs to ensure reliability, efficiency, and scalability. * Collaborate closely with architects to understand solution designs and translate them into high-quality implementations. * Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, including unit testing, CI/CD, version control, and documentation. * Conduct peer code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to team-wide process improvements. * Integrate Azure services (Data Factory, Data Lake, Event Hub, Synapse) to support comprehensive data solutions. * Maintain rigorous standards for data quality, validation, and governance.
