Job Summary: We are seeking a kitchen assistant to perform food preparation tasks, organize ingredients, clean, and collaborate in dish preparation and plating. Key Responsibilities: 1. Proper management and storage of food products We are looking for a kitchen assistant to work in Gijón (Asturias). Tasks include washing, peeling, cutting, and preparing vegetables and other foods, as well as preparing meats and fish according to the chef's instructions. You will also be responsible for organizing, storing, and properly preserving food items; maintaining order and cleanliness in the kitchen, utensils, and equipment; and collaborating in dish preparation and plating. A minimum of one year’s experience in a similar position is required, along with training from a Medium-Level Vocational Training Cycle in Hospitality or equivalent. It is essential to be able to follow instructions, adapt to the head chef’s directions, and tolerate working under pressure at a steady pace. A six-month temporary contract is offered, full-time, with working hours to be agreed upon, and a gross monthly salary of €1450.
