We are currently seeking a **Plant Engineer** at our offices in **Gijón**. Within the Operations team in Asturias, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of auxiliary services at production plants. **What will your responsibilities be?** * Manage various service contracts (industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems, natural gas boilers and furnaces, cooling water and domestic hot water treatment, fire protection and emergency response equipment, pest control, environmental services). * Monitor compliance with applicable current regulations governing these systems. * Collaborate with the maintenance team in executing the production plant maintenance program, including application of best predictive maintenance practices and resolution of malfunctions. * Participate in actions to maintain certifications related to quality, safety, environment, energy efficiency, etc. * The position involves taking on on-call duties following an initial training period. Position Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technologies Engineering or equivalent preferred. * A Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering will be valued. * Prior experience in maintenance within industrial environments. * Intermediate-to-advanced English (B2 level). **Competencies and Skills:** * Teamwork. * Action and results orientation. * Planning ability. * Proactivity and autonomy.
