Description

The main responsibility involves loading and unloading packages for subsequent delivery. It is essential to plan the most efficient route each day, taking into account the volume of deliveries and destinations, to optimize time and fuel consumption. Another important aspect of the role is documentation management—specifically, delivery notes—ensuring that each delivery is properly recorded and signed by the recipient. This task requires organization and attention to detail to prevent discrepancies and ensure smooth workflow. The environment is dynamic, and the driver must adapt to daily variations in workload while consistently maintaining a high level of efficiency. Customer interaction during delivery must be professional and courteous, positively representing the company. The position entails direct responsibility for the assigned vehicle and the goods being transported; therefore, basic care and maintenance of the vehicle are inherent aspects of the role. Work is carried out autonomously for most of the shift, following guidelines and deadlines established by central planning. The ultimate objective is to complete all assigned deliveries safely, punctually, and under optimal conditions to ensure customer satisfaction. This role is critical within the supply chain, connecting the logistics center with the final product destination. The working day takes place under varying traffic and weather conditions, requiring constant concentration and prudence while driving. This position offers full-time employment with hours covering Monday through Sunday, including two weekly rest days assigned according to the schedule. A pre-employment training program is provided to help you adapt to the role and the company’s specific procedures. You will join an established company in the logistics and transportation sector. Immediate availability is required, as well as willingness to work Monday through Sunday—including weekends and public holidays—according to the established shift calendar. A valid Class B driving license and a minimum of 8 points on the license are mandatory. No specific academic qualifications are required for this position.
