**Deckhand-Mechanic – Luxury Yacht Charters** * **Location:** Muelle Puerto Colón, Adeje - Tenerife * **Salary:** Negotiable * **Contract:** Permanent, after successful probation period **Organization:** Company in the luxury yacht charter sector. **Position:** The duties as Deckhand-Mechanic will include, in coordination with the vessel's Captain and/or Owner: Standing watch, assisting in the navigation of the vessel according to instructions from the bridge officer or officer on duty. Performing routine maintenance tasks and caring for the yacht’s exterior, from painting to deck maintenance, as well as maintaining onboard water toys such as jet skis and tenders. Cleaning and organizing cabins and other areas of the vessel. Depending on whether there are guests onboard or not, these are the usual daily tasks: cleaning the deck, varnishing, sanding, painting, polishing chrome, steel, bronze, etc., ensuring that the yacht’s recreational equipment is in perfect condition and ready for use. Preventive maintenance tasks on the vessel, as well as those related to repairing breakdowns through inspection and identification of any malfunctions. Performing minor repairs on boat engines and electrical systems using various hand tools.
