




HOVIMA Hotels is seeking a Maintenance Manager for one of its hotels **Job Mission** Ensure the optimal and safe operation of all hotel facilities, equipment, and infrastructure through planning and supervision of preventive and corrective maintenance, efficient management of the technical team, and compliance with quality standards, sustainability requirements, and current regulations. This role directly impacts customer experience, operational efficiency, and the establishment's image. **Responsibilities** * Lead and coordinate the maintenance team, promoting a positive work environment and ensuring goal achievement. * Plan team shifts, task assignments, leave, and vacations, guaranteeing operational coverage and compliance with labor regulations. * Design and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance plans, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. * Ensure compliance with current occupational health and safety regulations (OSH) for both internal and external personnel. * Review technical budgets related to construction projects, renovations, or improvements, ensuring their technical and economic feasibility. * Supervise the execution of construction works and renovations, coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, and other departments. * Manage and respond to technical incidents reported by guests or employees, ensuring prompt and effective resolution. * Monitor the use of departmental technical resources and materials, proposing improvements and ensuring stock availability. * Apply appropriate procedures for the correct management and disposal of waste in accordance with environmental regulations. * Collaborate on sustainability initiatives and certifications (ISO 9001, Travelife, environmental), as well as monitoring consumption of energy, water, and gas. * Prepare periodic reports on facility status, incidents, team performance, and improvement opportunities, reporting to Management. **Required Education and Knowledge** **Essential:** * Medium or higher-level vocational training in Electricity, Electromechanics, HVAC, Installation Maintenance, or similar. * Solid knowledge in OSH, HVAC, plumbing, electricity, energy management, and hotel installations. * Proficiency with computer tools (intermediate user level). * Leadership skills in managing technical teams. **Desirable:** * Training in managing multidisciplinary teams in hotel environments. * Knowledge of energy efficiency, environmental regulations, and sustainable resource management. * Experience with digital platforms for incident tracking and preventive maintenance. * Ability to interpret technical drawings and manage installation bills of quantities. **Experience** * Minimum of 3 years of technical maintenance experience in hotels or high-occupancy buildings. * Proven experience managing technical teams and coordinating suppliers or external companies. **Professional Profile** * Leadership, initiative, and problem-solving ability. * Ability to organize and prioritize tasks under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong communication, teamwork, and service-oriented attitude. **What We Offer** * Permanent contract and job stability. * Continuous training and opportunities for professional growth. * Join a committed team within an established company in the hospitality sector. **Interested?
