ACCIONA, through its Facility Services business, is seeking a Procurement Technician for its Madrid office.
**Job Description**
Mission:
Execute assigned project tasks within your unit/department according to established procedures, ensuring timely delivery and coordinating necessary resources (human and material), while driving significant improvements to the project.
Sub-function responsible for all activities related to the acquisition of goods and services for all types of commercial processes applicable to the organization, including product supply, supplier selection, price negotiations, and order processing.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Responsible for all tasks associated with the procurement of goods and services, including supplier search and selection, negotiations, and contracts/orders.
* Support the development of the category plan for facility services of all types: HVAC, electricity, maintenance, and construction projects...
* Ensure compliance with the Corporate Procurement Standard, as well as supplier registration, qualification, and evaluation procedures, and procurement systems and processes.
* Participate in the tendering phase for projects or spot purchases by business units.
* Support the Bidding and Commercial Department in supplier sourcing.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet purchasing needs for maintenance and construction projects.
* Measure, analyze, and act upon procurement process KPIs: suppliers, requisitions, tenders, contracts/orders/framework agreements/SAP Ariba—from purchase order to invoicing/subcontractor risk.
* Assess whether current agreements support project development or whether new terms—or even new agreements—are required.
* Contribute, as applicable, to achieving the Division’s overall objectives, ensuring achievement of the Procurement Department’s goals within your scope of responsibility, as well as any individually assigned objectives.
* Identify suppliers and candidates for project agreements; analyze supplier responses; execute scoring models; and prepare evaluation documentation to support decision-making.
* Internal customer management: build close relationships with business units to anticipate procurement needs and improve procurement processes or service levels, and provide assistance (if needed) in planning, reporting, and goal development—including budget, savings, and improvements.
**Candidate Requirements**
* Engineering degree.
* Minimum three years’ prior experience in procurement departments—specifically in facilities/maintenance/construction or in bidding departments—within these procurement families.
* Office software: Advanced Excel proficiency.
* English: spoken and written.
