Define and design the end-to-end cloud architecture on AWS DESCRIPTION At GRUPO DIGITAL, we are looking for a candidate to fill a vacancy at a major banking-sector company. ### **AWS CLOUD ARCHITECT** **Design the cloud foundation of a critical platform on AWS**, focusing on security, scalability, and efficiency. You will have direct impact on architecture, governance, and best practices from day one. **Conditions** --------------- * **Work modality: HYBRID** — 1 day/week at client's office * **Location: MADRID** — Financial City \+ partial remote * **Working hours:** 9:00 – 18:00 (Summer: 8:00 – 15:00) **Responsibilities** ------------- * **Define and design the end-to-end cloud architecture on AWS** * Build and evolve landing zones and multi-account environments * Establish standards for security, governance, and compliance * **Design networks** (VPC, Transit Gateway) and multi-region architectures * **Implement IaC** (Terraform/CloudFormation) and CI/CD automation * Collaborate with DevOps on pipelines, observability, and security shift-left * Define deployment strategies (blue/green, canary) * Optimize costs, resilience, and high availability REQUIREMENTS **Mandatory** ------------------ * **6+ years in cloud architecture (AWS)** * Proficiency in the **AWS Well-Architected Framework** * Experience with Control Tower / Organizations (multi-account) * Networking (VPC, TGW) and security (IAM, SCPs, KMS, WAF, GuardDuty) * **Infrastructure as Code** (Terraform and/or CloudFormation) * **CI/CD** (CodePipeline, GitHub Actions) * **Observability** (CloudWatch, X-Ray, OpenTelemetry) * Design of resilient, scalable, and secure architectures **Desirable** ------------ * **Advanced experience with AWS services** (EKS/ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.) * Multi-region architectures and disaster recovery strategies * Intermediate English **What We Offer** ----------------- * Competitive **salary**, commensurate with experience * Indefinite-term **contract** or option for freelance contract * 22 working days of **vacation** * Flexible **compensation plan**: Health insurance, childcare vouchers, transportation vouchers * **Training** in Technology and Soft Skills * Referral program: €500 per recommended candidate who joins us About us … **Grupo Digital** We are an IT consulting firm with a team of over 150 technology professionals, offering stable projects with leading national and international clients, developing solutions in application development, systems architecture, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Big Data, etc. More information on our website: **www.grupodigital.eu**
