About the Role Are you eager to join the team and participate in a banking-sector project within a team of 5–8 people, primarily composed of developers, along with Scrum and QA roles? What will you do on the project? You will develop backend applications with Spring Boot and Java, creating scalable APIs and event-driven integrations with Kafka. You will participate in deploying and operating services in Kubernetes environments, improving CI/CD pipelines to automate the development lifecycle. You will collaborate in an Agile environment to define requirements, review code, and deliver high-quality features. Your Responsibilities: * Develop backend services using Spring Boot, applying best practices, security (Spring Security), and data access with Spring Data JPA. * Implement modern backend interfaces and components using Java (17\-21\) to deliver a smooth and scalable user experience. * Work with cloud technologies such as *Kubernetes* and *Helm* to deploy and maintain applications in containerized environments. * Configure and improve CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes. * Design and develop RESTful APIs enabling clear and consistent integration between services and applications. * Participate in building event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka to ensure distributed and scalable systems. * Collaborate in an Agile environment, actively contributing to dailies, refinements, estimations, and retrospectives. * Proficiency in English is required. * Residency in Barcelona, Madrid, or Valencia is required.
