ACCIONA, within its Industrial business line, requires a Project Engineer for its offices in Sevilla, for one of its photovoltaic projects.
**Job Description**
**Mission:**
Coordinate, supervise, and control the engineering development of assigned projects, leading the technical team and ensuring deliverable quality, adherence to deadlines, coordination with various involved departments, and proper technical management of designs—thereby guaranteeing compliance with client requirements, organizational standards, and project objectives.
**Responsibilities:**
* Review deliverables produced by Staff Engineers and support departments, providing feedback to continuously improve processes and workflows.
* Conduct data analysis and interpretation, as well as analysis of information and other analytical tools.
* Prepare comprehensive technical reports or memoranda for Engineering Management and Project Management.
* Maintain continuous collaboration with the Construction/Operations department to enhance technical and construction solutions, monitor progress status of potential engineering subcontractors, and control timelines.
* Develop and monitor the engineering schedule for the project, tracking project execution timelines and client response times to meet the established schedule.
* Coordinate the assigned team of specialists.
* Control the DPP (Design Progress Plan), obtaining design approvals from Area Coordinators/Site Managers/Project Managers.
* Manage procurement in coordination with the Procurement Department and Project Manager, perform technical approval of materials, and update the project’s procurement plan technically.
* Site visits and coordination with on-site engineering personnel.
* Review designs to be submitted to the client, analyze the most cost-effective proposal, and decide on submission.
* Inform the Project Manager of any client design requirements outside those presented in the tender offer and technical specifications delivered during the bidding process.

**Candidate Requirements**
**Education:**
Technical or Superior Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent.
**Experience:**
At least 5 years of relevant prior experience.
**Languages:**
Advanced English
**Additional Knowledge:**
* Planning, coordination, and management of engineering projects, particularly photovoltaic power plants.
* Knowledge of design engineering and supervision of electromechanical specialties; civil engineering or high-voltage design knowledge is desirable.
* Experience in supplier management and coordination.
* Experience in preparing technical reports.
