**Description and Requirements**
If you want to transform the future of energy, we are looking for an **OPERATIONS SPECIALIST** to join our CT Groups Operation Team in Granadilla.
**Who You Will Work With**
You will work with the CT Groups Operation Team in Granadilla.
You must meet the established criteria for operating generating units and managing maintenance of generation units and their auxiliary equipment. At all times, you must safeguard the company’s objectives regarding safety, environment, availability, and any other goals set forth by the organization. You will support training programs for new hires and maintain a receptive attitude toward technologists visiting the plant, subsequently sharing knowledge with colleagues—both for operations and maintenance purposes. You will carry out operational and maintenance tasks and coordinate between them. You will also collaborate in staff training.
**Your Responsibilities**
Perform on-site maneuvers, inspections, and basic maintenance required to ensure proper system functionality at Type A power plants and Combined Cycle plants; at Type B power plants and Combined Cycle plants, perform control and monitoring operations of operating and control systems, supervising on-site maneuvers.
Carry out any other duties, within the scope of your professional competencies and skill level—and in accordance with applicable regulations—as assigned by your superiors due to service requirements; as well as actively participate in compliance with environmental and occupational health and safety regulations.
**What Is Required?**
**Minimum Requirements** for this position are:
* **Education:** Vocational Training Level 2 in Electricity, Electrotechnics, Instrumentation and Control, or Naval Machinery
* **Technical Skills:** Basic MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Teams, and SAP
* **Knowledge:** Basic knowledge of power plants, foundational Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training, and ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
* **Competencies:** Change management, resolution of complex problems, communication, customer orientation, results orientation, and collaboration
* **Experience:** Operations experience in combined-cycle thermal power plants or fuel-oil boilers
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Technical Industrial Engineer or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electricity, Electronics, Naval Machinery)
* B1
