Description

This position focuses on advanced-level support and escalation responsibilities within the Information Technology department. The selected candidate will be responsible for advanced diagnostics and definitive resolution of highly complex technical incidents in environments critical to corporate operations. The role involves deep immersion in server systems—both Linux- and Windows Server-based—to ensure their stability, security, and optimal performance. The ability to identify root causes of issues and implement durable, efficient solutions is a fundamental part of daily work. Beyond direct technical support, the systems administrator will play a key technical coordination role. This includes accompanying, guiding, and coordinating the daily activities of a small team of technical professionals. The candidate is expected to foster team autonomy, promote industry best practices, and contribute to the technical skill development of colleagues—acting as a mentoring and support resource. Automation of routine processes and continuous improvement of workflows will be priorities under their supervision. The role also requires close collaboration with other IT departments—particularly software development. Working jointly with development technical leads is essential to ensure an integrated, holistic view of the company’s technology platform—encompassing both underlying infrastructure and applications running upon it. This cross-departmental collaboration is vital for integration projects, deployment of new versions, and ensuring that the systems architecture remains robust, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. This position offers a stable and professional working environment within the information technology sector. Contractual terms will comply with current labor regulations and include salary and social benefits commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The workplace location will be in the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. A professional track record of approximately six years in systems administration is required, with demonstrable prior experience in technical work coordination, infrastructure project supervision, and mentoring or coaching other professionals in the field. Advanced, certifiable technical knowledge in administering and maintaining Linux- and Windows Server-based server environments is mandatory. A higher education degree in a vocational training program related to computing and communications is desirable. The ideal candidate must possess a solid understanding of networking, cybersecurity, and virtualization systems.
