The professional in this position will be responsible for providing essential care and comprehensive support to elderly individuals in a geriatric setting. Key responsibilities include direct assistance with activities of daily living—such as personal hygiene, feeding, and dressing—ensuring the highest possible well-being and dignity for residents. Additionally, the role involves mobilizing residents and performing postural changes using appropriate techniques to prevent pressure ulcers and maintain physical functionality, always under the supervision of nursing staff when required. The position also entails providing psychosocial support and companionship, encouraging participation in recreational activities and offering company to enhance emotional and social quality of life. Another key responsibility is monitoring and maintaining a sanitary environment, ensuring that common areas and rooms remain clean, orderly, and safe, and promptly reporting any incidents or changes in residents' health status to the relevant medical team. This role requires an empathetic, respectful, and proactive attitude, with a strong commitment to caring for older adults, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve established care objectives. The work takes place in a dynamic environment where adaptability and attention to detail are essential to respond effectively to users’ varying needs, thereby contributing to an optimal and personalized care environment. The offered salary is EUR 9.65 gross per hour worked, with a work schedule including rotating shifts covering morning, afternoon, and night hours. Initial hiring is conducted via a 3-month temporary contract, with potential subsequent integration into the permanent staff. The workplace operates in the healthcare sector and provides ongoing specialized training in geriatrics. Official certification as a nursing assistant, socio-healthcare worker, or completion—or ongoing pursuit—of a Professional Qualification Certificate is mandatory. Prior experience of at least one year in the geriatric sector or in caring for dependent individuals is highly valued. Specific knowledge in geriatric care, patient mobilization, and first aid is required. Having a personal vehicle for transportation is considered an advantage.
