We are currently **seeking a Quality Control Engineer** for our Renewable Construction team.
**Mission**
The selected candidate will be responsible for quality monitoring in ongoing projects, identifying applicable requirements and ensuring compliance with the quality management system (in the role of Owner or EPC); this includes periodic or permanent on-site quality monitoring at construction sites.
**Responsibilities**
* Identification and assessment of applicable requirements;
* Review and control of applicable documentation: design documents, Quality Plan, technical specifications, among others; project document control.
* Development and monitoring of the applicable Quality Control Plan and Test Plan;
* Control of materials and certificates;
* Monitoring of calibrated measuring equipment;
* Review of contractors’ specific procedures for execution of specific construction units;
* Detection and management of incidents and non-conformities;
* Verification of correct implementation of Quality Management System procedures;
* Liaison with various stakeholders (clients, contractors, etc.);
**Requirements**
**Education:** University degree (Bachelor’s or Diploma) in engineering or related fields. Preferred disciplines: Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical.
**Additional training**
* Additional training in quality management (ISO 9001).
* Course or Master’s degree in project management.
* Additional training and experience as an auditor; IRCA certification is desirable.
**Professional Experience**
* Quality Technician in renewable energy projects (electrical installations, substations or high-voltage lines), over 3 years.
* Quality Technician in industrial installations, over 5 years.
**Specific Knowledge**
* Knowledge of ISO 9001 standard;
* Knowledge of photovoltaic or wind power projects;
* Knowledge of quality inspections in electrical installations (LV and HV);
* Knowledge of commissioning procedures for renewable energy installations;
* Familiarity with project management applications (e.g., PROCORE);
* Valid driver’s license;
