Job Summary: We are seeking an internal auditor to join our expanding team, where you will play a key role in executing the Annual Risk-Based Audit Plan and strengthening internal controls. Key Highlights: 1. Participate in the Annual Risk-Based Audit Plan. 2. Lead audits from inception to completion. 3. Collaborate on improving governance and internal control. At Grenergy, we aim to reinforce our Internal Audit team amid growth and increasing operational complexity. We have two positions available: one based in Spain and a second involving expatriation to Santiago de Chile on a medium- to long-term basis (between 1 and 2 years). The successful candidate will play a significant role in executing the Annual Risk-Based Audit Plan and contribute to strengthening the internal control system, as well as overseeing the organization’s key risks. What will your day-to-day look like? * Participate in developing the Annual Risk-Based Audit Plan. * Lead audits from inception to completion (planning, execution, documentation, reporting, and follow-up). * Evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of the internal control system. * Analyze financial, operational, and project-related processes. * Identify relevant risks and root causes of identified findings. * Draft executive reports addressed to Senior Management and the relevant Committee. * Conduct structured follow-up of action plans arising from internal and external audits. * Collaborate with various business areas to identify emerging risks and promote improvements in governance and internal control. What are we looking for? * University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field. * Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in auditing, including at least 3 years in internal auditing. * Solid knowledge of internal control, risk management, and accounting regulations. * Advanced level of English (C1 mandatory). * Willingness to travel occasionally. We particularly value * CIA certification. * Experience in the energy or infrastructure sector. * Experience in data analysis. We are a Spanish multinational clean energy producer.
