Description
The position involves managing and maintaining production data within an ERP system in a manufacturing environment. The incumbent will ensure that items, bills of materials (BOM), manufacturing routings, and production processes are properly defined and up to date. They will work closely with departments such as Planning, Purchasing, Costing, and Production to guarantee that all system information is accurate and efficient. An analytical approach is required to preserve data integrity and support daily production operations.
Another key part of the role includes analyzing and improving existing processes. This entails calculating and validating manufacturing cycle times, identifying bottlenecks or issues in workflows, and continuously proposing improvements. The role also involves participating in the implementation and maintenance of the IFS system, adhering to quality standards and established deadlines.
Education in Engineering, Technical Engineering, or Higher Vocational Training (FP Grado Superior) related to Mechanical Design or industrial fields. Ability to interpret mechanical and manufacturing drawings. Advanced Excel skills. ERP knowledge in industrial or manufacturing environments. Analytical capability and process orientation. Strong organizational and teamwork skills. Programming and process automation knowledge, experience in time studies and production, familiarity with material structures (BOM), manufacturing routings, and industrial costing, experience in Engineering, Methods, Industrialization or Continuous Improvement departments, and prior knowledge or experience working with IFS are valued.
