**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**

The role of the **Spa Receptionist** is to welcome guests arriving at the spa. Responsibilities also include office management and front-desk duties. Spa receptionists typically work in resort complexes, hotels, and private spas. They must respond to all guest inquiries and guide them on available spa treatments.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

* Maximize revenue and cash flow by promoting resort services, special hotel and spa programs, packages, and upgrades (upgrades) where appropriate.
* Comply with company standards and BSA/LQA standards.
* Manage spa reservations for both internal and external guests.
* Welcome guests arriving at the spa.
* Coordinate guests with various therapists.
* Maintain a clean and organized spa through regular facility inspections.
**SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION**

REQUIREMENTS
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**

* High school diploma (or equivalent) is required.
* One to two years of prior customer service experience is preferred.
* Certification as a therapist is an advantage.
