Key responsibilities of the DevOps Engineer **1/ DevOps Projects** * Build and deploy new development tools and infrastructures * Understand stakeholder requirements and communicate them to developers * Work on automating and improving development and deployment processes * In-depth knowledge of application containerization * Review and test code written by others and analyze results * Ensure systems are secure and protected against cybersecurity threats * Identify technical issues and develop software updates and fixes * Collaborate with developers and software engineers to ensure development follows established processes and functions as intended * Plan projects and participate in project management decisions **2/ Technical Support** * Deploy updates and patches * Provide level-2 technical support * Build tools to reduce error occurrences and improve customer experience * Develop software for integration into internal backend systems * Perform root cause analysis of production errors * Investigate and resolve technical issues * Develop scripts to automate visualization * Design troubleshooting and system maintenance procedures **3/ Contribution to Management** * Proactively propose ideas/solutions to help prevent or resolve application production issues, improve work processes, management methodologies, coordination among teams (both inside and outside the studio) involved in application production, and studio governance and compliance * In collaboration with functional leads of relevant programmers, conduct constructive team member evaluations at each review cycle, highlighting strengths and weaknesses; assist in identifying high performers and supporting underperforming team members * Manage DevOps integration and installation of application environment architectures **4/ Application Development** 1. Our company’s primary role is developing mobile or web applications for clients. 2. Support web or mobile application development 3. Develop internal applications 4. Implement DevOps and CI/CD 5. Share best practices with team leads to ensure proper development approaches 6. Confirm processes and verify code quality to provide guidance to the development team 7. Collaborate with the Shield team to design new development approaches and technologies to ensure continuous improvement across all teams 8.
