Summary: Wallapop is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to lead the design and implementation of data infrastructure, integrate data from multiple sources, and create data-driven insights for stakeholders. Our mission is to enable a connected trade ecosystem, making 2nd\-hand the norm through smart use of technology. **The Challenge** As a Senior Analytics Engineer at Wallapop, your challenge will be to play a leadership role in designing, developing, and maintaining a complete data infrastructure and make it easily accessible to the entire domain team looking for synergies cross Wallapop to amplify the impact of the data. **What You Will Do** * Lead the design and implementation of data infrastructure, including integrating and consolidating data from multiple sources for advanced analytics. * Evaluate and select external analytics tools, platforms, and technologies to support advanced analytics capabilities. * Create visually compelling and interactive dashboards and reports to provide data\-driven insights to stakeholders. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to identify their data needs and drive scalable data\-driven solutions. * Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to junior team members. * Document analytics processes and establish clear practices for analytics tools to ensure long\-term team scalability and easy onboarding. **What We're Looking For** * Proficiency in Python and SQL, combined with a solid understanding of big data technologies. * Strong coding skills and the ability to write maintainable, performant code. * Proven expertise with ETL processes, data integration, and building reliable data pipelines. * Strong knowledge of cloud\-based environments, ideally AWS. * Experience developing interactive dashboards and data insights using Business Intelligence tools (such as Looker or Tableau). * Advanced knowledge of data analytics concepts, techniques, and methodologies. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex data issues. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills to lead and work effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders. * Ability to take ownership of projects from start to finish, manage timelines effectively, and deliver high\-quality work. * Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship. * Experience with project management, including managing timelines, resources, and delivering high\-quality work within deadlines **What Would Be A Plus** * Working with non\-technical senior leadership * Automation and governance using AI tooling Do note that all our jobs are Barcelona based. We follow a hybrid model where flexibility rules. We commit to a minimum of 6 days per month in the office. Each team self\-organizes to decide on cadence and in\-person/remote rituals.
