Description

Workplace Barcelona Mission The Electronic Engineer will be responsible for the assembly and electronic verification of products, maintenance of the BOM, management of CAPA related to electronics, firmware flashing, and ensuring quality in electronic processes. Additionally, they will provide general support to various departments within the company and collaborate on basic warehouse management, including stock control, inventory, packaging, and material quality assurance. Reports to Responsibilities and duties 1\. Electronic design and development Design and development of electronic schematics and PCBs. Selection of electronic components and definition of technical specifications. Prototyping and validation of designs. Design transfer to manufacturing and technical communication with EMS suppliers. 2\. Assembly and verification Assembly of prototypes and production units. Functional electronic verification using bench test equipment (oscilloscope, signal generator, multimeter, spectrum analyzer, etc.). Diagnosis and resolution of technical issues on boards and electronic systems. 3\. BOM management Creation, updating, and maintenance of the BOM. Version control and traceability of changes in technical documentation. Coordination with Operations to ensure component availability. 4\. Firmware Flashing and updating firmware on boards and devices. Verification of correct firmware functionality after loading and support during testing. 5\. Quality and CAPA Initiation, tracking, and closure of CAPA actions related to electronic non-conformities. 6\. Basic warehouse management Stock and inventory control of electronic components. Quality control of incoming and outgoing warehouse materials. 7\. Cross-functional support Technical support to various departments (Product, Operations, CTO) as required by project needs. Collaboration with the Product Manager in defining technical requirements. Participation in cross-functional coordination meetings. Competencies Ability to solve technical problems and analytical mindset. Organization, documentary rigor, and attention to detail (change control and quality). Leadership and coordination skills for technical/operational profiles. Proactivity and adaptability to agile/startup environments in scaling phases. Experience 2\-3 years of experience in medium-complexity projects. Knowledge of circuit emulation software. Knowledge of PCB design software (KiCad, Altium or similar). Knowledge of bench test verification (oscilloscope, signal generator, digital multimeter, spectrum analyzer, etc.). Experience in sensor/IoT product prototyping. Experience in design transfer and communication with EMS suppliers. Education Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or related field. Languages Spanish and advanced English.
