At YUSLEX Legal, we are building a network of external collaborating lawyers for the referral of pre-screened legal matters. Our work consists of receiving inquiries from individuals, conducting an initial information gathering, organizing the available documentation, and referring the matter to an appropriate professional when it matches their area of specialization. We seek practicing lawyers or law firms wishing to collaborate externally, flexibly, and non-exclusively, primarily in the following areas: – Family and civil law. – Labor law. – Second chance proceedings, debt recovery, and asset-related civil matters. Collaboration will be primarily online, although special consideration will be given to professionals who can act in Catalonia or coordinate judicial proceedings when the matter requires legal representation before courts. Main responsibilities: – Assess legal inquiries referred by YUSLEX Legal. – Indicate the initial feasibility of the matter where applicable. – Assume representation, negotiation, or case handling if mutually agreed upon by both parties. – Inform the client in advance about fees, terms, and scope of the professional engagement. – Use an engagement letter where appropriate. – Maintain clear and orderly communication regarding the status of the matter. – Comply with applicable deontological rules and data protection regulations. Requirements: – Bachelor’s or Licentiate degree in Law. – Active membership in a bar association as a practicing lawyer. – Experience in one or more of the specified areas. – Ability to handle online or telephone inquiries. – Clarity in client communication. – Professional seriousness, fee transparency, and use of engagement letters. – Residence in or capacity to practice professionally in Catalonia. The monetary figure indicated in the Indeed application form reflects platform limitations. Actual economic terms will be negotiated case by case, depending on the type of matter, required professional involvement, and the corresponding engagement letter.
