Job Summary: We are seeking a Production Operator to control machinery and the production process at a recycling plant, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. The position's objectives are to control the machinery and production process within the assigned area of the plant, ensuring operations comply with standards set by the Production Manager and/or technical team. \- Raw Materials Area Responsibilities · Inspect incoming truckload products for possible anomalies. · If applicable, collect samples from deceased bovines upon arrival. · Supervise raw material unloading into the hopper and subsequent processing or transfer. · Record and document operations performed in the application as required. \- Transformation Area Responsibilities · Supervise the production process from the control room, verifying all critical points—from raw material intake to finished product output. · Record malfunctions or incidents occurring during the production process. · Communicate incidents occurring during the production process to other teams across shifts or departments as required. \- Meal (Flour) Area Responsibilities · Control the grinding process and sterilize the resulting meal. · Record information related to incidents, control parameters, stock levels, etc. · Perform meal transfers between different silos. · Collect samples as required by the Quality Department. · Load and unload finished products. \- Wastewater Treatment, Air Treatment, and Steam Generation Area Responsibilities: · Operate and supervise external water intake (flow rates, softener control, tank levels, etc.). · Operate and supervise proper functioning of the plant’s steam-generating boilers (fuel supply, optimal water levels, steam pressure checks, chemical dosing, gas emissions, etc.). · Operate and supervise proper functioning of the plant’s regenerative thermal oxidizer for odor treatment. What Are We Looking For? · We seek a candidate with experience in industrial environments or willingness to learn the production process.
