Power Plant Coordinator (O&M Central Area)

POSITION AND DEPARTMENT * Reports directly to the Operations and Maintenance Director. * Responsible for coordinating the operation and maintenance activities of central area power plants, with personnel under supervision at each site where our assets are located (minimum 4 people per plant): Cuenca, Tarancón, Guadalajara, Azuqueca, and Móstoles. * The position must be based at one of these production centers, preferably in Tarancón. FUNCTIONS, TASKS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES **Operations Management and Supervision:** Supervise all activities related to the operation of operational assets, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards. * Motivates staff, promotes collaboration, teamwork, and a positive work environment. * Plans, organizes, directs, and supervises the functions, tasks, and performance of assigned personnel, supporting their development, training, and motivation. * Maintains, monitors, and supervises the operation of assigned assets. * Supervises the detection and handling of incidents and failures in assets, proposing and/or implementing (depending on incident severity) necessary corrective actions. Reduces daily incidents within areas of responsibility. * Informs the direct supervisor of any incident or accident. * Coordinates employee schedules, training, and onboarding. * Ensures compliance with all policies, procedures, and instructions regarding Safety, Health, Quality, and Environment. * Plans, implements, supervises, and coordinates with plant managers the optimal development and execution of all daily activities and processes. * Ensures proper biomass management (including supply and stock control) and ash handling. * Coordinates spare parts replenishment and procurement. * Supervises and coordinates corrective and preventive maintenance tasks. * Participates in the design and implementation, and supervises the proper execution of both operational processes and corrective and predictive maintenance (plans), including maintenance routines for facilities to ensure proper functioning and availability. Also coordinates and supervises work carried out using internal resources or external contractors on company assets. **Resource Optimization:** Efficiently manage human, financial, and material resources to maximize productivity and minimize costs. **Continuous Improvement:** Identify opportunities for process improvement, implementing innovative changes and solutions to increase efficiency and quality. **Risk Management:** Assess and manage operational risks associated with assets by implementing preventive and/or contingency measures. **Interdepartmental Coordination:** Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure effective integration and coordination of activities related to operational assets. **Reporting and Analysis:** Prepare periodic reports on operational performance, analyzing key data to support informed and strategic decision-making. Coordinate and manage the preparation and monitoring of budgets related to operation and maintenance activities. The employee is charged 2/7 of 20% of the new market value of the vehicle for personal use. * National mobility; necessary visits to perform job duties at associated assets. Minimum of one visit per month to each asset. * Contract type: Permanent, with a 3-month probation period. * Working hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week. * Exclusive dedication. * Collective agreement: Madrid / Cuenca Metal Industry, Services and Installations Sector Agreement, or the destination location’s applicable agreement. * Category/Group/Level: As per collective agreement, Engineer level. * Vacation: As per collective agreement plus additional days. * Life and accident insurance: As per applicable collective agreement and company conditions at any given time. * Access to flexible compensation plan: You may contract offered products (medical insurance, meal vouchers, transportation, childcare, and training), within the limits and criteria established by the current flexible compensation plan. * Start date: Immediate. * Workplace: Production center within the area, preferably Tarancón. PROFILE REQUIREMENTS * Education: Vocational Training in Electricity, Electromechanics, Maintenance, and/or Refrigeration/Heating, or equivalent Professional Certification. Valid boiler operator license desirable and/or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field relevant to position responsibilities. * Knowledge: Industrial facilities, Operation and Maintenance, maintenance routines, asset and resource management, etc. * Experience: Minimum of 5 years as O&M or plant manager in industrial facilities. * Languages: Not required. * Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. GMAOs. Pi System desirable. * Travel: Availability for local and national travel (approximately 60% across assets in your area). * Teamwork skills combined with high autonomy. * Proactive attitude. * Results-oriented, technical, and analytical person. * Information analysis and processing skills. * Flexible and adaptable to hybrid environments. * Communication skills (written and oral in Spanish and English). * Planning and organizational skills. * Rigorous, logical, methodical individual with strong listening and analytical abilities, highly focused on problem-solving and achieving results. * Ability to manage and carry out multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. * Negotiation skills. * Integrity.
