Collaboration and support in tenders and construction project management **Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsa **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Empresa de Transformación Agraria, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., the parent company of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in activities related to rural development and nature conservation, seeks to hire 1 Technical Engineer or Engineer to provide support for Natural Paths in the Community of Madrid. **Work Location** -------------------- * Community of Madrid National travel across the entire territory for 50% of the time **Functions and Tasks** ---------------------- * Drafting and supervision of Natural Paths, roads and/or forest tracks projects. * Preparation of construction progress reports, priced proposals and/or re-pricing documents for Natural Paths, roads and/or forest tracks. * Preparation of GIS mapping. * General technical review of projects prior to submission. Identification of errors and provision of suggestions and/or technical alternatives for improvement and correction. * General technical-administrative review of documentation generated during the pre-construction and construction execution phases. * Preparation of technical specifications for various tender procedures. * Support and/or processing of structural tenders, signage tenders or other areas. * Support and collaboration with internal and external site managers. * Liaison with suppliers and collaborators. Processing of licenses and other permits. * Apply specific knowledge from education/experience to perform technical activities. Prepare reports on performed activities. * Share knowledge and experience gained in performing activities, contributing to the training of other team members. * Ensure compliance with internal quality procedures and those of the client. **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with requirements must be substantiated by attaching the following documents, as applicable, in the “Annexes” section of the application (or during the process): * Official academic qualification certificate or proof of payment of fees for issuance of the academic degree. * Employment record and/or employment contract verifying and certifying the required professional experience. * Internship annexes verifying and certifying the required academic experience, where applicable. ### **Education** #### **Qualifications** * Hold a degree in Technical Engineering in Public Works / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or Technical Engineering in Forestry / Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry Engineering / Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry Engineering and Natural Environment (MECES Level 2); or Civil Engineering (Civil Engineering, Canals and Ports) / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Technical Engineering in Public Works + Official Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Civil Engineering, Canals and Ports) or Forestry Engineering / Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry Engineering / Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry Engineering and Natural Environment / Technical Engineering in Forestry + Official Master’s Degree in Forestry Engineering (MECES Level 3) (qualification recognized in Spain or equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities) ### **Other Mandatory Requirements** * Valid Type B driving license * Availability to travel across the national territory for 50% of the time **Merit Criteria (Evaluated)** ------------------------ ### **Prior Experience** * From 1 year up to 6 years of administrative experience in public works contracting (professional experience) * From 1 year up to 6 years of experience working for Public Administration (professional experience) ### **Other Meritorious Factors** * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (to be verified during technical interview) * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Presto (to be verified during technical interview) * Knowledge of technical characteristics and behavior of wood (to be verified during technical interview) * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in ArcGIS and/or QGIS (to be verified during technical interview) **Observations** ----------------- * Offered: + Fixed-term contract estimated at 6 months, with possible extension up to a maximum total of 12 months, if applicable.
