Senior Project Manager

**Job Description** We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with proven experience in managing complex projects and resources within highly technological production environments. The candidate will be responsible for leading project teams and interfacing with all stakeholders — both internal and external, including strategic customers, industrial partners, and suppliers — throughout the entire project lifecycle, from the proposal phase to final delivery. **Key Responsibilities** * End\-to\-end management of complex and high\-criticality projects, from the offering and planning phases through to final acceptance testing. * Management, coordination, and development of a team, including defining workloads, planning efforts, and guiding the operational team toward achieving objectives. * Management of relationships and stakeholder engagement with supply chain, procurement, strategic customers, partners, and external suppliers. * Planning and monitoring of timelines, milestones, WBS, resource allocation, and project KPIs. * Financial and economic control of the project: budget oversight, cost management, profitability analysis, and risk management (*Risk Management*). * Proactive management of issues, promptly identifying corrective actions and reallocating resources to meet project targets. * Support for Offering and Sales activities, contributing to defining the execution approach, estimating time/effort/resources, and benchmarking quotations based on field evidence (Operations). * Periodic reporting on project progress to Management and stakeholders. **Requirements** * Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager, with demonstrated and solid capability in resource management and team coordination within production and complex manufacturing environments. * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (specialization in Mechanical Engineering is a plus). * Preferred qualifications: + Familiarity with the target market. + Knowledge of products and technologies related to vacuum pumps or similar systems. * Strong competencies in Project \& Program Management, Leadership, Resource Allocation, Contract Management, and Budget Control. * Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP®, PRINCE2®) are considered a significant advantage. * Excellent command of English (written and spoken). * Proficiency in Project Planning tools and ERP systems. * Willingness to undertake periodic business trips, both domestically and internationally, depending on project requirements. **Work Location**: Lainate (MI), Lombardy **What We Offer** * Employment contract: Italian Metalworking Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico) – Level B3/A1\. * Salary Range: €60\.000 – €70\.000 * International, innovative, and technologically advanced working environment. * Continuous training programs and concrete opportunities for professional growth. **Our Commitment to Diversity** At SAES Getters, we are committed to fostering a workplace that values all aspects of diversity and inclusion, implementing fair practices so that every individual feels fully integrated into the organization.
