Dimensional Control Technician

At Intertek, we are seeking a **Dimensional Control Technician** for an industrial project located in **Andoain (Gipuzkoa)**. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing dimensional inspections, geometric verifications, and quality controls on mechanical parts and assemblies, ensuring compliance with technical requirements defined by the client and applicable regulations. Key responsibilities include: * Performing dimensional controls on parts, assemblies, and mechanical components. * Interpreting engineering drawings, geometric tolerances, and technical specifications. * Using dimensional measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), or other metrology equipment). * Verifying critical dimensions and tolerance compliance. * Preparing inspection reports and quality records. * Identifying and managing deviations or non-conformities. * Collaborating with production, engineering, and quality departments. * Adhering to quality standards established for the project. **Requirements** Technical education in Mechanical Manufacturing, Metrology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Quality, or a related field. Prior experience in dimensional control, part inspection, or quality control within industrial environments. Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation. Experience using dimensional measurement tools. Knowledge of dimensional and geometric tolerances (GD\&T). Experience operating measurement equipment and associated software is preferred. Analytical ability, attention to detail, and quality orientation. Preferred qualifications: * Experience in sectors such as aerospace, rail, automotive, machine tools, or capital goods. * Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes. * Experience in incoming, in-process, and final inspections. **Benefits** A technically oriented environment working on high-value-added projects.
