Currently, we have a team of over 2\.000 people. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? A kitchen assistant to join the kitchen team at the MedPlaya Hotel Monterrey. This is a seasonal hotel (open from June to September), rated 3 stars, with 116 rooms, located in Platja d’Aro (Girona). As part of the kitchen team, your duties and responsibilities will include: preparing food, including basic tasks such as washing, peeling, and cutting ingredients, as well as preparing meat and fish; cooking and presenting simple culinary dishes autonomously and responsibly, following instructions from the kitchen supervisor; ensuring proper food storage and preservation, respecting optimal food safety conditions; maintaining order, cleanliness, and a professional appearance in the workplace and with all tools used; strictly complying with established hygiene, safety, and food health regulations; possibility of attending menu planning sessions. * Minimum 1 year of experience. Prior experience in a similar role is required. Knowledge of basic culinary techniques, including cutting, food preparation, and cooking. Familiarity with food hygiene and safety regulations. * Catalan (spoken: advanced, written: advanced) * Competencies / knowledge: SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organization and cleanliness.
