DESCRIPTION Grupo Arestora is selecting, for a Spanish multinational company engaged in **FISHING** and marketing of seafood products, a **TECHNICAL DIRECTOR** to lead the technical management of the **FLEET** of **REFRIGERATED** and **FREEZER** vessels in Southern African countries, especially **NAMIBIA** and Angola. **OFFERED:** * Indefinite-term contract. * Attractive remuneration package. * Expatriation package including: * Furnished accommodation. * Company vehicle. * Corporate phone. * Private health insurance. * Two round-trip flights per year for the employee and their family unit. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Plan and **COORDINATE** **REPAIRS** and **REFURBISHMENTS** of the **FLEET** across various countries in the region. * Personally supervise major repairs, conversions, and dry-dockings. * Coordinate activities with **OPERATIONS**, **INSPECTION**, suppliers, and other involved departments. * Analyze technical inefficiencies and implement improvement plans. * Lead technical refurbishment and innovation projects to enhance fleet efficiency and performance. * Control budgets associated with repairs and refurbishments. * Develop and implement systems and databases for tracking **COSTS** and repairs. * Supervise vessel inspections and classifications, ensuring proper follow-up. * Maintain technical **RELATIONSHIPS** with **SUPPLIERS**, **CONSULTANTS**, and **GOVERNMENTAL** **INSTITUTIONS**. REQUIREMENTS * University degree in **NAVAL** **TECHNICAL** **ENGINEERING** or Naval Engineering. * **HIGH** level of **ENGLISH**, both spoken and written. * Minimum **5 YEARS** of **EXPERIENCE** in similar roles involving technical **FLEET** management for fishing vessels, repair **PLANNING**, **REFURBISHMENT** projects, and **BUDGETARY** control. * Willingness to relocate and reside in **NAMIBIA**.
