Overview: Support the execution of technical activities associated with the downstream process development laboratory following the guidance of the Downstream group Responsibilities: * Perform the routine activities defined daily/weekly/monthly in the Downstream laboratory. + Carry out purification processes \- chromatohraphy, filtrations, ultrafiltration,depth filtration etc. + Column packing. + Equipment maintenance. + Preparation of media and buffers. + Sampling analysis. * Data collection, analysis, and inferences from experimnets, preparation of presentaions. * Work according to GLP standards. * Prepare, Maintain and follow Standard Operating Procedures. * Continuous improvement – supporting process improvements during the Development process. Qualifications: * Education: University Degree or Higher Vocational Training in Biochemistry/Chemistry/Biotechnology. * Languages: Fluent Spanish, proficiency in English. Knowledge of other languages will be valued. * Experience (years/areas): \<2 years of relevant experience in Downstream activities working with biological drugs and in biotechnological environments. * Specific knowledge: + Familiarity in the purification of recombinant proteins, especially monoclonal antibodies (PrA, IEX, HIC etc.). + Competent in relevant laboratory operations * Travel: Not required. * Personal skills: + Ability to read and carefully follow instructions and SOPs. + Ability to communicate with other departments. + Willingness to work extensively and, sometimes, at unusual hours to meet company needs.
