Job Summary: We are seeking a camp cook responsible for preparing meals for a large group in a team-based work environment. Key Highlights: 1. Opportunity to work at a summer camp 2. Team-oriented work environment involving minors **Camp Cook** We are looking for a **cook (male or female)** for a summer camp, from **July 17 to 29, 2026** (12 days), to prepare **meals, snacks, and dinners** for a large group of people. Work will take place at a specific location (Camp El Escurialejo, 05460 Gavilanes, Ávila). The selected candidate may: * Commute daily if residing nearby, or * Stay at the camp during working days if more convenient. During this period, there will be **one day off**, on which no duties are required. The association will provide: * Equipped kitchen * Cooking utensils * Food supplies * Parking area * Insurance coverage for the duration of employment * Accommodation **Requirements** * Prior experience cooking for **large groups**, especially in camps or collective settings. * Formal training in cooking or hospitality is desirable. * Valid **food handler certificate**. * Mandatory **certificate confirming absence of sexual offense convictions**, due to the involvement of minors. * Ability to work under pressure and organize tasks effectively. * Positive attitude, cheerful demeanor, responsibility, and good interpersonal skills with children and youth. **Conditions** * **Temporary** contract. * Full-time position. * Non-profit youth association. * Salary between **€1,300 and €1,500** (to be finalized). * Payment will be made **upon completion of the work period**. We seek a person who enjoys cooking, teamwork, and the camp environment.
