Job Summary: An industrial maintenance professional responsible for operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, and activity logging in an industrial environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in industrial environments 2. Operate industrial machinery, including boilers and compressors 3. Manage chemicals and waste in compliance with safety regulations The job involves carrying out maintenance and operational tasks in an industrial environment. Key duties include taking meter readings and entering them into the computer system, ensuring data accuracy. Preventive maintenance is performed according to a schedule, including daily cleaning of machinery and surrounding areas. All activities are recorded in the PRISMA system, with work reports completed detailing each intervention. Additionally, corrective maintenance is carried out on both main facilities and external sites. This includes diagnosing and repairing faults, and preparing material purchase proposal sheets when stock is insufficient. Technical support is provided to senior colleagues for complex technical issues, and waste segregation for recycling is managed. Attention must also be paid to preventing and controlling leaks or spills. Daily tasks include opening and closing the plant, and starting up all machinery—such as boilers, water pumps, compressors, and electrical panels. Tasks such as waxing and applying tapes to calenders are performed, and chemicals are handled for machine servicing. Ensuring personal and colleagues’ safety, while complying with quality, environmental, and occupational risk prevention standards, is essential. The contract is temporary and full-time. Required competencies include performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, using computer programs such as PRISMA for activity logging, completing technical documentation, and knowledge of quality, environmental, and occupational risk prevention procedures. Proficiency in starting up and operating industrial machinery, as well as managing waste and chemicals, is necessary.
