Position Summary: We are seeking a Procurement Technician to manage the procurement process, negotiate with suppliers, coordinate orders and shipments, and support the finance department. Conduct purchasing negotiations with suppliers **Job Description** **We offer a fixed-term contract.** **Who will you work with?** Fanox, part of Wabtec Corporation, is located in Derio, Spain, and designs and manufactures medium-voltage relays. In this role, you will report to the Procurement Manager. **How will you make a difference?** As a **Procurement Technician**, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process—including negotiating with suppliers, coordinating orders and shipments, handling ERP documentation and entries, and supporting finance with invoicing and payment tasks. **What will your day-to-day look like?** * Manage the procurement and supply process—from coordinating inbound logistics to administrative documentation (delivery notes) and invoice accounting in the ERP. * Coordinate and track international shipments, managing operational documentation and ensuring compliance with regulations according to the agreed Incoterm. * Conduct purchasing negotiations with suppliers to optimize terms. * Use inventory control tools to ensure material availability and proper inventory management. * Manage operations with national and international partners (EU and non-EU markets). * Operate Navision ERP or similar systems for operational and administrative tasks. * Collaborate with the Finance Department on accounting tasks and payment management. **What are we looking for in you?** * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Studies, or related field. * Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, logistics, import operations, or similar roles within an industrial environment. * Languages: Advanced English and Spanish. * Specific knowledge: Office software (Excel, Access, etc.). * Proactivity, time management, communication skills, and teamwork. *Legal authorization to work in the EU is required.
