Position Summary: We are seeking a Tooling Design Engineer to develop and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring technical feasibility, adherence to deadlines, and cost efficiency. Application of advanced software for design and simulation A well-established industrial company located in Elgoibar, a leader in its sector with strong international presence, is looking to hire a Tooling Design Engineer to participate in the development and optimization of industrial manufacturing processes. The selected candidate will be responsible for the design and development of tooling, dies, and preforms, ensuring technical feasibility of projects, on-time delivery, and cost optimization, while closely collaborating with Production, Quality, and Engineering departments, as well as customers and suppliers. **Main Responsibilities** **Process Design and Development** * Design of manufacturing processes for new products and modifications to existing ones. * Preparation of product design drawings and tooling plans. * Design of preforms, process tooling, and auxiliary components. * Conducting Process and Design FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis). * Coordination of implementation of modifications to manufacturing processes. **Project Development** * Participation in the preparation and review of Process FMEAs. * Design of AFG tooling. * Analysis of simulations for highly complex projects. * Active support to production during prototype manufacturing and launch of new processes. **Customer and Supplier Interaction** * Technical liaison with customers during product development and modification. * Coordination with suppliers for technical development of solutions. * Collaboration in preparation of technical proposals. **Continuous Improvement and Documentation** * Proposal and implementation of improvements to manufacturing processes. * Management and safeguarding of technical documentation, ensuring information confidentiality. **Technical Requirements** **Software and Tools** * 3D Design: Unigraphics (NX), CATIA, Solid Edge. * 2D Design: AutoCAD or equivalent. * CAM / Machining: PowerMill. * Process Simulation: Forge (Transvalor). * Office Software: Advanced level. **Languages** * Functional technical English is mandatory.
