This position falls under: R&D Team Lead **Internship in Sustainability** Your Role and Responsibilities In this role, you'll learn and contribute to the following tasks: * Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Leadership: Model, update, and execute environmental impact scenarios using Simapro, analyzing key indicators (GWP, energy, water) to guide strategic design decisions. * Eco-labeling and EcoPassport PEP Management: Coordinate data collection, calculation, and external verification of Environmental Product Declarations (Type III EPDs), ensuring compliance with category rules (PCR). * Material Selection and Circularity: Identify and evaluate sustainable alternatives (bio-based, recycled, low-carbon) and apply eco-design criteria (disassembly, modularity) in new product development. * Data Governance and Compliance: Design traceability and document management systems to ensure that all sustainability evidence complies with ABB's audits and corporate standards. * Strategic Monitoring and Cultural Change: Act as a technical reference in circularity trends, benchmarking the sector and leading internal training sessions to integrate sustainability into the plant's DNA.
