Plenergy, a leading firm in our sector dedicated to the development and operation of automated service stations, is currently undergoing rapid expansion. This has led us to seek an **ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN** profile with experience in performing **bank reconciliations**, residing in Madrid.
We are looking for an Accounting Technician responsible for:
1\. **Processing supplier invoices**
* Verify supplier data and record invoices according to purchase orders
* Monitor and manage issues related to purchase orders and invoices
* Coordinate with other departments to resolve discrepancies
* Apply appropriate accounting allocation criteria
2\. **Reconciling supplier accounts**
* Review general ledger accounts and analyze debt aging
* Verify manual journal entries and outstanding provisions
* Coordinate with Treasury on payment scheduling
* Identify and resolve balance discrepancies with suppliers
3\. **Performing accounting closings**
* Calculate and record expense provisions
* Analyze accounting variances against budget
* Prepare documentation for Financial Statements
* Adjust and reconcile accounting balances prior to monthly closing
4\. **Performing bank reconciliation**
* Analyze and record bank transactions.
* Reconcile bank movements and balances with accounting records.
* Record and analyze financial expenses.
* Coordinate with the Treasury department to ensure accurate accounting.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**
* Minimum 3 years’ experience performing the described duties.
* University degree in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration and Management (ADE), Economics, or related field.
* Prior experience in consulting or Big Four firms is highly valued.
* Proficiency in Business Central or Navision, Excel.
* Languages: English at B2 level; Portuguese knowledge is a plus.
* Must reside in Madrid.
