As our new Senior Python Developer, you will join the Applications xDC team, distributed across Spain, with the mission of modernizing applications and building innovative cloud solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver scalable, high-quality software that drives digital transformation. You will play an active role in technical decisions, promoting best practices and taking ownership of the quality and reliability of the solutions developed. Your work will have a direct impact on the evolution of modern architectures and cloud environments. **Responsibilities** * Design and develop scalable backend solutions using Python. * Build and integrate robust APIs to ensure efficient system-to-system communication. * Participate in modernization initiatives and cloud-native architecture efforts. * Implement containerized solutions using Docker and related tools. * Ensure code quality through automated testing, including unit and integration tests. * Collaborate in agile environments, fostering continuous improvement and innovation. * Contribute to CI/CD practices and optimize deployment and monitoring processes. **Practical Information** Location: Santiago de Compostela | Work Mode: Hybrid What We Expect From You: Solid experience in software engineering. Practical proficiency in Python development. Experience in API design and integration. Experience working with Docker and containerized environments. Commitment to best practices in testing and code quality. Agile mindset and excellent communication and teamwork skills. Intermediate-to-advanced professional English proficiency. Desirable: Experience with Python web frameworks such as Django, DRF, or FastAPI. Knowledge of Kubernetes or container orchestration. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Familiarity with DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD. Participation in open-source projects or personal technical projects.
