Right now, we are seeking a **Data Engineer** to manage the data extraction, loading, and transformation processes, working closely with data analysts and scientists within the department, as well as with other teams requiring their involvement. If you are passionate about technology and the Travel industry, and want to take the next step in your career, **this is your opportunity****!** **Functions and Responsibilities** ---------------------- * Responsible for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). * Develop, create, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes. * Design and implement SQL views for data transformation. Query optimization. * Manage the technology stack for data capture. * Develop and manage large-scale data systems focused on Big Data and Data Warehousing. * Provide support and assistance to the rest of the data team. * Align data with client needs and objectives. **Hard skills** --------------- * Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. * Expert-level proficiency in SQL. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing Big Data systems. * Proficiency with programming tools and languages such as Python and Java. * Knowledge of AWS, RedShift, S3, Glue, Athena, EC2, EMR, Lambda, Flume, Sqoop, Spark SQL will be valued. * Orchestration tools: Data Pipeline, Airflow. * Data architecture: normalized and denormalized, advanced analytics, and business aspects. * Ability to create and modify complex databases and data models. * Knowledge of data integration and management in cloud ecosystems, especially AWS. * AWS certification will be an advantage. * Advanced level of English. **Soft skills** --------------- * High autonomy and self-management capability. * Ability to work remotely or on-site as needed. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork. * Flexibility to initiate, develop, and execute projects at different scales. * Strong organizational and planning skills. * Teamwork ability. **Benefits at AdQuiver** -------------------------- Among other benefits, we offer: * Joining a competitive and fast-growing company. * Integration into a team of highly qualified professionals.
