At Kairós, you’ll find projects that allow you to work remotely — without losing closeness with the rest of the team! **What We’re Looking For** **At Kairós**, we are seeking a **QA Automation** engineer to design testing strategies and plans — both manual and automated. The candidate will join our Tech discipline, led by **Carlos Cañado and Reinaldo Aguilera**. **Requirements** * Identification of test scenarios, test requirements, and necessary data for test execution. * Experience in functional test automation and execution. * Use of incident tracking and reporting tools such as ALM, Jira, and Jira with Zephyr and XRail plugins. * Knowledge of code quality measurement tools: Sonar, PMD, FindBugs, Checkstyle. * Execution of service tests using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and Newman. * Proficiency with test automation frameworks/tools such as Allure, Cucumber, TestNG, Selenium WebDriver. * Automation of tasks and tests using Cypress, Selenium, WebDriver, or similar tools, and Docker. * Knowledge of Java-based application development. * Solid foundational understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript interpretation. * Familiarity with source code repositories (SVN, CVS, GIT). * Experience with CI tools used for testing (Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, Nexus). * Basic-to-intermediate database knowledge: SQL (MySQL, DBeaver) and NoSQL. * Proficiency with Eclipse as a development tool and with operating systems: Linux, macOS, Windows. * Knowledge and application of agile methodologies/frameworks. * Understanding of technologies/frameworks for unit/integration testing. * Collaboration with teams during continuous application development to identify critical functionalities and help minimize error risks. * Tracking of defects identified during comprehensive test execution. * Knowledge of various test types: unit, integration, regression, system, smoke, sanity, and/or acceptance testing. * Performance testing execution using JMeter, BlazeMeter, or similar tools.
